Our Beliefs

As Seventh-day Adventists, we hold to fundamental biblical truths that define our faith and guide our lives.

Fundamental Beliefs

1

The Word of God

2 Timothy 3:16

The Bible is the infallible Word of God, revealing His will and the standard for Christian living.

We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are inspired by God and constitute the complete revelation of His will to humanity.

2

The Trinity

Matthew 28:19

God is one, consisting of three eternal persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in one eternal God who exists as three distinct, co-equal persons united in purpose, love, and character.

3

The Life, Death, and Resurrection of Christ

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, died for our sins, and rose again, securing our salvation.

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, who through His life, death, and resurrection provided the only way of salvation for humanity.

4

Salvation Through Faith

Ephesians 2:8-9

Salvation is a free gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not through our own works or merit.

5

The Sabbath

Exodus 20:8-11

The seventh-day Sabbath is God's holy day, a memorial of creation and the sign of our relationship with Him.

We believe the Sabbath, from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, is God's holy day—a time for worship, rest, and fellowship.

6

The Second Coming of Christ

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

Jesus Christ will return visibly to Earth to gather His people and establish His eternal kingdom.

We believe in the literal, visible, and soon return of Jesus Christ to bring an end to sin and suffering forever.

7

Death and Resurrection

John 5:28-29

The dead remain unconscious until the resurrection at Christ's coming.

We believe death is a state of unconscious sleep until the resurrection when Christ returns.

8

The Sanctuary and Heavenly Priesthood

Hebrews 8:1-2

Christ ministers in heaven's sanctuary, applying the benefits of His sacrifice for us.

We believe Jesus Christ serves as our High Priest in the heavenly sanctuary, interceding for humanity.

9

The Remnant and Its Mission

Revelation 14:6-12

The church has a unique end-time mission to proclaim God's truth and prepare people for His coming.

We believe we are called to proclaim the everlasting gospel and prepare the world for Christ's second coming.

Our Lifestyle Commitment

Christian Stewardship

We are responsible managers of all God has given us, including our time, talents, and resources.

Healthy Living

We believe in caring for our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit through proper nutrition, exercise, and rest.

Social Responsibility

We are called to serve others, care for the oppressed, and promote justice and mercy in society.
